VOLTRON Interactive Series (2005):

UPDATE: MARCH 2005...    Things are moving ahead with the new Voltron series, and Kickstart Entertainment is doing a fabulous job getting everything in place. To date we have 90% of our marketing materials ready to go, and we hope within 30 days to begin presenting to studios, very exciting!     Our mailboxes have been jammed with emails from fans who are incredibly anxious to see the new Voltron series on Television.  "When's it coming out?" "Who is producing it?" "What storylines are going to be included?" "Will we have the same characters?" "Where will it air?" "Will there be new toys?"...   Easy there...  WEP will be releasing information about the show in pieces, as soon as each part is ironed out and approved.  Check back here often for updates as they become available (a phrase almost as dreaded as "wait and see") but to start off with, here is some of the information ready to be shared...

Well... to begin, the new Voltron series is slated to air in the Fall of 2005... provided we get a deal with a broadcast buy-in which we will be pitching at MIPCOM in October. (see related news in the MIPCOM section)  VEIL Technology will be implemented in the program to interact with new toys created specifically for the show. (these will be awesome! - along the lines of the Batman toys VEIL will have this year)   Kickstart productions will be the producers of the new series and have announced that the writers will be Tom Puglsey & Greg Klein (highly acclaimed for their Kids WB cartoon writing) Selected credits include: "Teen Titans", "The Batman", "Jackie Chan Adventures", "The Mummy" (and Secrets of the Medjai) -Just to name a few...
