A native of Los Angeles, Kimberly began acting and singing at the Riviera Children’s Theater at the age of eight. Her passion for theater grew throughout high school and in college, at Cal State Long Beach, where she gave stand out performances in many lead roles and earned a degree in theater arts. Her classical training and love of musical theater naturally drew her to New York City, where a chance voice-over role in an independent animated short film gave her the opportunity to discover new and exciting aspects of her talents. By focusing her musical theater background, versatile acting ability, and unique vocal quality, Kimberly made the inspired decision to return to Los Angeles and pursue a professional career as a voice-over artist.
Upon Kimberly’s return to Los Angeles, her talents were quickly discovered when she was cast in her first TV voice-over role as Mimi on Hanna Barabera’s “Dexter’s Laboratory”. She was soon lending her vocal skills to some of the most popular animated series on television. Some of her credits include roles on such hits as “Rugrats”, “Power-puff Girls”, “As Told by Ginger”, “What’s New Scooby-Doo”, “Static Shock”, “Danny Phantom”, “Teen Titans”, “Fairly OddParents”, “Justice League”, “Phineas and Ferb”, “Shuriken School”, “Ben 10 Omniverse”, “Ultimate Spiderman”, “The Boondocks” and starring roles as Buena Girl on the immensely popular series “Mucha Lucha” and as Stormy in “Winx Club”. Kimberly has become one of the top voice-over actors working today. Currently, she is working on several animation projects, including Disney’s “Doc McStuffins”, Amazon’s “The Stinky and Dirty Show”, Cartoon Network’s “Steven Universe” and the highly anticipated Dreamwork’s “Voltron Legendary Defender”!
Kimberly also enjoys success in the world of feature animation. She earned acclaim for her performance as Kathy Duquesne, a.k.a Batwoman in “Batman-Mystery of the Batwoman”. She had the pleasure of crafting voices for “Jimmy Neutron” and “The Wild Thornberry’s Movie”, both Academy Award nominated films. In addition, she has created memorable characters for “Curious George”, “Shark Tale”, “Land Before Time”, and “Scooby-Doo and the Witches Ghost” among many others.
Within the thriving video game industry, Kimberly’s credits are extensive. The roles of Ashley Williams in the critically acclaimed “Mass Effect” games, Oracle in “Batman: Arkham Asylum” and “Arkham City”, Daisy Fitzroy in “BioShock Infinite” and Niobe in “The Matrix” are among some of her favorites. Further voice credits include “Lego Batman”, “Fallout 4”, “Call of Duty”, “Halo 5”, “Skylanders”, “Avatar”, “Everquest”, “Star Wars – Galactic Battlegrounds” and “Star Wars – Empire Strikes Back”, “Dark Reign”, “The Fast and the Furious” and “Barbie & Friends” just to name a few.
In the exciting world of Promo voice-over, Kimberly has been heard as one of the prime-time voices on NBC and also as the voice of Disney’s Soapnet. Currently Kimberly is this voice of E! Entertainment – Africa.
