ASK MARIBELLA

Each month, you, the Voltron fans, are invited to send open letters asking advice from Madame Maribella. You may ask Maribella about any topic, Voltron-related or otherwise. Selected letters will be posted weekly on the site with Maribella's responses. So if you have questions or issues that could use sensitivity and foresight, send them Maribella's way:

maribella@voltronforce.com

Maribella looks forward to hearing from you! (Please put "Ask Maribella" in the subject field of your email.)

And here are some of your questions and Maribella's answers for you;

Hdutch007 Asks:
Hello. As I am sure you probably know, I, like many other fans, grew up on the original voltron in the 80s. Now I hear that there is a new show, but I can't find it. In the station carrier listings, all you give are the call letters for who airs it. I have no idea what station that is. I live in Mobile, Alabama, and I would love to watch the show. could you tell me when and where to watch? thanks.

Dear Hdutch007- Voltron: The Third Dimension can be seen on most WB affiliates on Saturday or Sunday mornings. Start here and if you still can’t find it please do write again. Thanks for watching. The Madame.

Monica asks:
Hi Maribella, I've been a Voltron fan since I was a little girl in the 80's. Always rushed home from school so that I wouldn't miss an episode. Unfortunately, while I was on vacation I missed the last 2 episodes of the original Voltron series. It's driven me crazy all these years not knowing what happened. I stay up till 3 a.m. on Sunday mornings so that I could see reruns of the original Voltron on the Cartoon Network. Is there a way that you could tell me what happened, or where I may be able to purchase a tape of those episodes? Thanks for your help. Monica..

Monica Darling- It is a shame that you have not seen the conclusion to the original series. Well darling, let me just tell you that if you have seen Episode 1 of Voltron: The Third Dimension, Princess Allura gives some background on how things were left at the end of the original series. The Voltron Force was decomissioned at the conclusion of the last series and in the first episode the team is called back together when it is discovered that Lotor has escaped from prison. Tune in to our chat today and Marc Handler would love to tell you more! Madame Maribella

Cris asks:
Dear Maribella, Hi there, My name is Cris and im a fans fo voltron. I like the voltron now than the old series becaues of the voltron 3d uses a great computer graphics animation. I have a qesution to you related to the old series. When i was young i always wacthed Voltron every saturday in my country Philippines. Now i'm here living in south California and still wacthing the new series of voltron. My qeustion is when i was young around 8 yrs old i wacthed two different kind of voltron robot. One os the robot lion and the other voltron were compose of 15 space ship which divided into 3 (land team, sea team, air team). I hope you know this. I remember also one movie the two voltron are fighting together againts a giant robeast. I wonder is there will be also a 3d for that other voltron robot. The voltron lion is a deffender of planet arus while the other one is located near the erath orbit. What happened to that robot. Thats all. I hope you will reply to my question. Thank you. Pls email me, sign Cris.

Cris darling- In response to your question, the Fleet of Doom is where the Voltron Force all get together. The two Voltrons that I believe you are referring to are Vehicle Voltron and Lion Voltron. They will probably not be brought into the world of 3D but look for Stealth Voltron, a bigger and better Voltron. Thanks for writing, the Madame.

Joe'L Elert asks:
DEAR MARIBELL MY NAME IS RAYMOND AND I USED TO WATCH VOLTRON 3-D EVERY SUNDAY MORNING NOW I DON'T SEE IT ANY MORE CAN YOU TELL ME WHEN IT AIRES PLEASE AND WILL THEY BRING OUT THE DRAGOTRON 5-PART SET LIKE THE VOLTRON 5-PART SET (TOYS OF COURSE) AND WILL THEY SHOW NEW EPISODES WITH STEALTH VOLTRON I REALLY WOULD LIKE TO KNOW PLEASE ANSWER MY CRIES THANKYOU, NUMBER ONE VOLTRON FAN: Joe'L .

Joe’L darling- I must know where you live in order to tell you how to watch Voltron: The Third Dimension. Stealth Voltron is currently airing and the toys are available in toys stores every where. Thanks for watching! Madame Maribella

??? asks:
Will the Vehicle voltron feature on the show or will there be another series for the voltron??

Unfortunately darling, no Vehicle Voltron. Tune into Stealth Voltron and I think you will enjoy it just as much! Madame Maribella

Lee asks:
Hi maribella My Name is Lee Bargwanna I am 13 I Watched Voltron Ever since i was 5 But there was a difference Voltron was Made up of vehicles(cars etc) can you explane this to me Oh and by the way Great Show I love it P.S Please Reply soon Lee Bargwanna

Lee Darling- A long long time ago, Voltron consisted of Vehicle Voltron (the 5 vehicles) and Lion Voltron (the 5 Lions). Voltron: The Third Dimension which currently airs in 80% of the U.S. is based on the Lion Voltron series. Thanks for writing, Madame Maribella

John asks:
Dear Maribella, My friends and i are fans of racing. And we wanted to know if there was ever a Voltron racing Crew. If not were planing to start one. John

John Darling- No plans for a Voltron racing crew, but thanks for the idea. Tune into Stealth Voltron, I think if you enjoy racing you will really enjoy Stealth. Keep watching, Madame Maribella

Lionel asks:
Are there going to be any new episodes?

Dear Lionel- Currently Voltron: The Third Dimension is airing the second season of all new episodes. If you need to know where to find them, let me know, the Madame.

Michael asks:
When will the new stealth be coming out & do they still sell Die Cast Metal Voltrons? Michael J Herold.. Chickens are cool.

Michael- Stealth will be premiering in the U.S. in November so be sure to watch. Unfortunately, no die cast metal Voltrons but the new toys are quite amazing. Madame Maribella.

Tung Vu asks:
Hi Maribella, I watched the original Voltron cartoon a long time ago. Sometimes in the year of 1985 or 86, I saw a preview of a special episode that have the LION VOLTRON & VEHICLE VOLTRON combined force to battle a giant alien. I missed that show since I was away from home. Is there any chance that episode will ever show again, in Cartoon Network or for rent or anywhere else? If yes, can you let me know when the show will air so I can catch it. About this new 3D Voltron show, how come Keith seems to have a total different looks comparing to the original Voltron force (the new one looks like Caucasian but the old one looks like Asian). Also, is there any plan for live movie or show of Voltron? Thank you in advance for your reply.?

Dear Tung Vu, the combined force that you are inquiring about is referred to as the Fleet of Doom. As of now there is no immediate plan for a live movie or show of Voltron, however it is in the works in the future to put together a 3 part mini-series of Voltron to sell. Thanks for writing!.

Gary asks:
Hello Maribella A few things puzzle me about old Voltron and 3D Voltron... Which origin of Voltron is 3D going to go with? Was the Voltron force a single entity split into 5 parts by Witch Haggar and crash landed on Arus, or was Voltron 5 real lions whose spirits now inhabit the metallic bodies of the robot lions? Also, where is Galaxy Garrison? Is it on Earth or someplace in the Denubian Galaxy? This might be a stupid question, but this is very unclear to me. And is the Denubian Galaxy simply a new name for the Milky Way galaxy? Also, since Voltron 3D is going with alternate realities in the second season, perhaps Stealth Voltron could meet Go Lion and their Japanese counterparts in an episode. An intriguing idea, I think... Also, put me down as one who would like to see Vehicle Voltron in an episode or two. I hope I don't sound too clueless. Thanks Gary Bryant.

Gary darling- What terrific questions. My advice to you is to tune into the Live Chat today at 4:00 central time because Marc Handler will be our special guest. He worked on both the original series and the new series so he can answer all of your very detailed questions. Thanks for watching! Madame Maribella.

QUESTIONS FROM LAST MONTH

Jason (AlBeGas) Canty Asks:
Konichiwa Maribella-san! I was wondering if you would ever cameo in a Voltron Episode?

Jason- The idea of a cameo in V3D has been tossed around darling, thanks for the vote of confidence. My dream is to one day appear with the likes of Princess Allura and Commander Keith.

L. Campbell asks:
Maribella, I have been a Voltron fan since it's debut in the 1980's. I was wondering if there was a way to obtain copies of the original voltron episodes on video.

Latroy, You can purchase original Voltron episodes in our online Voltron store. While my friends at WEP say they won’t sell the entire series, there are still plenty of episodes to purchase. Thanks for writing in, Maribella

ComicCid asks:
Were the Voltron lions destroyed?

ComicCid- Unfortunately darling this is information that I can not reveal at this time. Tune in next season, patience is a virtue! Thanks for writing to me, write again soon!

James Elert asks:
I just happened to stumble across this "V3D" site while searching for pictures of Voltron to recreate with my newest copy of adobe's illustrator 8. This is the first that I have heard of it. can you enlighten me? it sounds interesting. but from what I've seen on this site, I assume that it's already being aired. and I'm curious, what network, day, and time? also another thing that led me to experiment with your site, was a link claiming an animated trailer of the series, which just could not find for the life of me! how long has this project been in the works for? when was the first airdate? Thanks.

Mr. Monkey- It is a shame you have missed an entire season of Voltron: The Third Dimension. The show has been on the air since September of 1998. The web site should fill you in all you need to know. I will need to know what market you are watching in order to give you more specifics, do write again soon!

Koshie asks:
Dear Maribella, How come you don't always show up at the chat sessions? You seem to have missed quite a few as of late.

Koshie- Unfortunately because of the time change I have not been able to appear at the last few chat sessions. However, very soon the chats will be cut down to once a week on Fridays at 4:00 Central time so I can join you again. Hope your having a spectacular summer, speak with you soon!
